Medical Thermology 2018 - a computer-assisted literature survey

SUMMARY

The literature survey 2018 is based on 719 papers found in Scopus and 65 additional notes or abstracts detected in the journal "Thermology international "with the keywords "thermography" OR "infrared imaging" OR "thermology" OR "temperature measurement" OR "thermometry" AND "published in 2018" and restricted to "medicine". The papers were analysed with respect to the origin of authors, the language and the publication source. Similar to the surveys of previous years, a detailed description is provided of publications related to Raynaud's phenomenon, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Breast diseases, fever measurement and application in sports. There was a remarkable improvement in the scientific quality of articles related Raynaud`s phenomenon

MEDIZINISCHE THERMOLOGIE 2018 - EINE COMPUTER-GESTÜTZTE LITERATURSUCHE

Die Literaturrecherche für 2018 basiert auf 719 Arbeiten, die unter den Schlüsselwörtern "thermography" OR "infrared imaging" OR "thermology" OR "temperature measurement" OR "thermometry" und "veröffentlicht 2018" und der Einschränkung "Medizin" in der Datenbank Scopus gefunden wurden. 65 Abstracts bzw. Kommentare aus der Zeitschrift "Thermology International" vervollständigten die Daten für diesen Überblick. Die Publikationen wurden in Bezug auf die Herkunft der Autoren, der Sprache und der Publikationsquelle analysiert. Ähnlich wie in den Überblicken der vergangenen Jahre, erfolgt eine detaillierte Beschreibung der Publikationen im Zusammenhang mit Raynaud- Phänomen, komplexem regionalen Schmerzsyndrom, Brustkrebs, Fiebermessung und Einsatz in der Sportmedizin. Es fand sich eine bemerkenswerte Verbesserung der wissenschaftlichen Qualität von Artikeln über das Raynaud-Phänomen.
